Dr. Daniel P. Friedmann, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon and phlebologist, currently serving as Clinical Research Director at Westlake Dermatology Clinical Research Center. He completed his dermatology residency at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, where he was chief resident, followed by a cosmetic surgery fellowship at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego.
Dr. Friedmann earned dual bachelor’s degrees, magna cum laude, in European History and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and received his medical degree with honors from the University of Florida, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
He is an active fellow and member of leading professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Friedmann has contributed to several textbook chapters, presented nationally on advanced cosmetic and laser techniques, and has been involved in numerous clinical trials focused on aesthetic and dermatologic treatments. He is also a recipient of the ASDS Young Investigators Writing Award and has been recognized as a “RealSelf Most Loved Injector.”
